Grace Heifetz

Grace has been involved in the arts her whole career, both in Australia and overseas. She joined Curtis Brown in 2002, working in a variety of roles before becoming an agent. In 2019 she left Curtis Brown to found Left Bank Literary with Gaby Naher.

Grace represents some of the most critically and commercially acclaimed writers in Australia across all genres. Her clients include writers such as Nakkiah Lui, Sofie Laguna, Emily Maguire, Chris Hammer, Bri Lee, Madeleine Gray and Hayley Scrivenor. She believes passionately in finding great new voices from across Australia’s cultural melting pot and helping establish and nurture their writing careers.

Grace is Chair of Open Book: Australian Publishing Internship program, an industry-wide initiative that takes practical steps towards addressing the lack of diversity at all levels and in all sectors of the Australian publishing industry. Grace is currently on the board of the Blue Mountains Writers’ Festival, and was previously on the board of the National Young Writers' Festival.
